Tiny Specks Of Dust

about

We recorded this track during the Breathe Out Slowly recording sessions but kept it back, I'm not sure why but we had some reservations about the song. Recently, Whilst thinking about planning for an album release, we had a listen through all our recent demos and unreleased tracks and decided it deserved to at least to be heard.

lyrics

I'll spend the night alone tonight
with nothing but my thoughts to cause me harm
I'm a shadow on the wall
and tiny specks of dust arise
in the glow of the lamplight they float with no purpose at all
predetermined to fall

I haven't found a place where I belong
so when you told me everyone I meets counting seconds till I'm gone
it seems to me you weren't wrong

I havent been happy since I thought to smile
and remembered what smiling coud mean when a future exsists
as so much more than this
the end of the tether is frayed I'm afraid
I've been under the weather and I never thought I'd be missed
and now I know it

so happy when I close my eyes to think
when I open them I'm choked up until I blink
every song sounds better in my head
everywords supposed to be a posthumous apology for things I left unsaid

I should of said
